Trinx LA, founded by Kendrick Sugar in 2019, is a luxury street-wear brand all meticulously hand-cut and sewn in the heart of Los Angeles.
Inspired by Sugar’s Inglewood roots and his immaculate “Hollywood” style, Trinx LA visually mirrors the very essence, culture, paradoxes and possibilities of modern-day Los Angeles. Here Trinx LA’s message is intentional, designing trendy, flashy garments that still feel nostalgic and authentic for all.
Growing up, Sugar always appreciated fashion as self-expression and an outlet.
His trailblazing style set him apart from his peers—his most notable accessory, the box-foam trucker hat. It was not until attending NYFW (2014) then Milan and Paris Fashion Week (2016), he had an epiphany: “what if I put my graphic on a designer hat? I would become a walking billboard.”
This primal thought is where Sugar envisioned his own clothing line and it became the very recipe for Trinx’s success story. So he began designing the essentials: shirts, shorts, hats and hoodies.
Building a brand in a cut-throat industry, his exclusive connections brought new heights to the streetwear line. The TRINX Arch Trucker has been widely sported amongst NBA athletes such as Jalen Green and Jayson Tatum, supermodel Heidi Klum, rappers Blxst and Mooskie and counting. From stars to everyday clients the trucker hat is TRINX’s best-selling item.
Nonetheless, Trinx LA prides itself on being more than trendy streetwear, it is a relatable lifestyle and culture. It’s about remembering where you’re from and still elevating, evolving. Sugar hopes his brand instills confidence and individuality for all.
